About the Trip

Enjoy a scenic drive from Hobart, cross to Bruny on our bus or aboard our Water Taxi then head south with us to Adventure Bay. Our staff will point out some of the landmarks along the way and share with you stories of days gone by. Once you have arrived at Adventure Bay, you can spend four hours exploring the beautiful area - swim, relax on the beach, visit the Bligh Museum, walk to Penguin Island or do the Fluted Cape curcit walk. Then rejoin us mid-afternoon and let us take you on a relaxing drive back to Hobart.

This is the perfect way to explore Bruny Island without the hassles of organising transport.

Essential Info

When?
The bus departs daily from Hobart at 8am and arrives at Adventure Bay at 10.30am.
The bus leaves Adventure Bay for the return journey at 3.30pm and arrives in Hobart at 5.45pm.
Tours run 1st October to 31st May.

Where?
The bus trip departs the Hobart & Tasmania's South Visitor Information Centre at 8am daily. Trip takes you from Hobart to Adventure Bay return where you will have 4 hours to explore Adventure Bay and the island at your own leisure.

How Much?
$45 per person.

Getting There

You will need to make your own arrangements to and from the departure/arrival point in Hobart, and also for all transfers to and from our Adventure Bay booking office while on the island.
