About the Trip

This multi-award winning three-hour eco-cruise takes you through some of Tasmania's unspoilt coastline like nobody else.

Boasting stunning natural cliff formations among the tallest in the world, the awesome 'Breathing Rock', the towering 'Monument' and the lush emerald green forests of South Bruny you will fall in love with this island paradise. The impressive array of local wildlife rivals many national parks throughout the world with dolphins, fur seals, whales, mackerel, salmon, penguins, albatross, eagles, gannet, shearwater and petrel all living in this delicate ecosystem.

But this is not a tame luxury river cruise with a view on the other side of a window! On our safe, fast and comfortable vessels, you're right in the adventure - seeing everything up close, feeling every thrill and experiencing nature first hand.

When?
Cruises operate daily departing 11am and returning 2pm.
Tours run 1st October to 31st May.
Alternatively, Tasman Island Cruises operates a 3 hour eco cruise at Port Arthur all year round.

Where?
Cruises depart daily from our booking office at Adventure Bay on Bruny Island.

Children $50 (aged 3-16)
Family $280 (2 adults and up to 3 children)

Getting There

Your Own Car
You can make your own way by car to our booking office near the Adventure Bay jetty.
Catch the 7.45am or 9.30am vehicle ferry which departs from Kettering. Ferry returns at 3.15, 4.30, 5.30 and 7pm. (full timetable here)
Cost of the ferry is $25 return for a standard vehicle and be sure to arrive at least 30 mins early.
If You Are Renting a Car From AVIS: Please note that AVIS currently prohibit customers to drive AVIS vehicles on Bruny Island.

Let Us Take You - Kettering Pickup
Better still, save petrol and come aboard our Tour Bus service which leaves our Bruny Island Charters Kettering Meeting Point at 9am for Bruny Island and Adventure Bay. There is plenty of free parking available at Kettering and if you start your adventure with us at Kettering, you're adding three more hours of guided travel experience to your day.
Return fare is $10 adults, $5 children.

Full Day Tour From Hobart
